What is this all about? For several years, Cory and Jill have wanted to offer
something special to their clients at Valentine’s. We think that all women
are beautiful and want to help them realize that, too. We realized that men
can be hard to shop for on Valentines Day. So, what do men want?
Well, most men have a one-track mind and that's when it came to us that you
are the best gift you can give your man! The
entire crew here at Sinklier Studios thought...what if we offer a day of pampering for
our female clients. We’d provide refreshments, have someone come in to do
their make-up and fix their hair, and then provide them an opportunity to be
photographed as a gift for their husbands for Valentine’s day. We wanted
to do something sexy that was tasteful and innocent. From there,
we were reminded of the famous Pin-up Girl prints from the 40’s and 50’s,
and suddenly the studio was buzzing with excitement. Last year was a great
success and this year can only be even more fun! |

What should I
expect to happen?
Upon arrival, you will be offered a choice of beverages and light snacks. We want you to fill out a quick questionnaire about what you want out of your portrait. You will peruse the pages of our sample pin-up pose book and choose something that interests you. Then, it will be on to make-up and hair, and choosing your outfit (see next question for more info.) After dressing, it will be your turn to smile for the camera, and finally, choose your gift for your Valentine. The entire experience lasts approximately 1 to 1½ hours. What should I bring? You don’t need all of your own make-up, but please
bring your eyelash curler and your mascara. You will also need to wear
either a button front shirt or a tie robe that you can easily remove once
your make-up and hair are done. Also, wear nude colored bikini or thong
underwear and bra, perhaps strapless to keep coverage to a minimum. You may want to bring your own high
heels and accessories. (We do have some bras, tube tops, hosiery, and shoes in average
sizes.) Come with clean hair and a clean face...no make-up. Bring your best smile, and don’t be nervous...Cory has a way of bringing out the beauty in all of us.

What will I wear
for my portrait?
We have a variety of sizes and styles of lingerie and gowns that we have purchased especially for this session. However, for a more personal portrait, you might bring one of your husband’s favorite shirts, ties or hats, or one of your outfits that he likes. Most of the images we are doing have a vintage look to them, but we can make most reasonable clothing work. If you have an idea of something you would like to do and have clothing and/or props appropriate for your idea, bring them with you. Please feel free to call Cory to discuss your idea prior to your session (especially if you are bringing something large like a car or motorcycle). Also, if you would like to stop by and look at the samples book ahead of time, please don’t hesitate to do so.

This sounds
fabulous! So, how much does it cost?
This is the best part. Each session is just $75.00. This includes hair, make-up, and the session. Products will be available for purchase, such as a session book wrapped in a lace garter including a love letter written by you to your husband and sealed with a kiss. How do I book a session? We have session times available on two consecutive Mondays, Jan. 14th and Jan 21st. All orders will be back before Valentine’s Day. Call Sinklier Studios at 298-2845 to schedule your time. The $75.00 fee will be due at the time you schedule. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. Because of the nature of the scheduling for these sessions, the fee is not refundable. If you find that you can not keep the appointment, you may send a friend in your place.
